RECIPE FOR A GREAT PHOTO SHOOT
Beautiful weather, great views, and one of the most interesting bikes on the market. Can you imagine better circumstances to create a photo shoot with our products? Taking advantage of one of the last warm days of the year, we dressed our friend Michał and set off for the Babia Góra Trails. It is a complex of 20km of singletracks, which were created in cooperation between the Polish Zawoja and the Slovakian Oravská Polhora areas. Bikepark is beautifully located near the Mosorny Groń massif, with its forest atmosphere, is ideal for an autumn photo shoot with our products.
The weather was exceptionally good, so we used the well-known and much-loved ROCDAY ROC LITE shorts for the shoot. A lighter model of shorts designed for enduro, all mountain, and all the more difficult trails. Thanks to its casual look, it is also great for everyday wear. We always ensure that our cycling clothing is made with attention to the smallest details, so we have incorporated a number of clever solutions. The shorts are made from 4-Way Stretch fabric with a DWR PFC-Free coating. They are extremely pleasant to the touch, stretchable and, environmentally friendly, as our coating does not contain environmentally harmful polymorphs, and they do not absorb moisture while remaining breathable, even when riding in hard conditions. In addition, the profile of the pockets is made in such a way that their contents always remain in place.
Local trails are demanding, which is why we have chosen two models for special tasks, the ROCDAY EVO RACE and the ELEMENT. Enduro and Downhill cycling gloves have to stand up to the toughest demands. That is why, in the EVO RACE model, the inner part of the glove is made of the highest quality Japanese CLARINO® material, which is extremely resistant to damage and at the same time comfortable and pleasant to the touch. It is equipped with additional specially shaped reinforcements and an extended cut that covers the wrists. The EVO RACE gloves are perfect for colder days and the toughest trails. Of course, modern gloves need to support touchscreens and this is the case here too.
The Element is the slightly lighter brother, featuring a shorter cut and lighter construction. It will work perfectly as a cycling glove for all possible occasions. It’s made from CLARINO® material and has been additionally sewn in with moisture-absorbing lightweight terry in the thumb area.
A decent cycling set requires the right jersey. We used three different models for this photo shoot. Particularly noteworthy is our top jersey for enduro and downhill - STAGE. It is made of a highly stretchable and technologically advanced material, which is both abrasion resistant and very breathable. Thanks to its elasticity, it is ideal for hardcore downhill trails. It is worth noting that the material is made from 90% recycled material and all our products come in biodegradable packaging. In each of our jerseys, you will find a special SANITIZED® aperture, which is an anti-microbial fabric coating that counteracts the accumulation of odors and ensures ultimate comfort while riding.
We have also used two popular jersey models PARK and MOUNT. PARK is kept in a bikepacking vibe. It has a slightly looser fit and the white color is perfect for hot and sunny days. All our jerseys have a soft cloth sewn inside for goggles or glasses. The Mount is now an absolute classic with updated graphics. The well-known and popular jersey has been given a new design and color. It is worth noting that both models are made from 50% recycled materials.
Cherry on the top of this session was the Antidote Darkmatter bike. A very interesting design based on a high-pivot system and Noster Kinetics suspension, which uses an extra chain roll. It features high anti-squat values for better pedaling. This combination of bike and clothing resulted in exceptionally nice photos!
